"Dusty" Gregg, Cecil Thomas Gregg
You slipped away today September 13, 2025 in Choctaw, Oklahoma. Emily
said you passed easily in no pain. You got exposed to Agent Orange in Viet
Nam where you served as a US Air Force mechanic. We pray that you got the
benefits the Veteran's Administration didn't want anyone to know about ... the
benefits that everyone "in country" should have been told were available. We
pray the people of Southeast Asia can find a way to heal from what the DOW
Chemical Company made; please find a way to forgive. Let's not forget the
children our "men" left behind, the chemicals that leached into your soil, and
the ongoing effects of our illegal war. May we all learn to love one another, to
forgive one another and to find our way toward knowing that we are Sisters
and Brothers. So be it. My song "War Victim" doesn't go far enough but at
least I do say "we are ALL WAR VICTIMS."

David Williams
In Memory of David Williams
David Williams fought a long battle against cancer but we lost him last week.
He was a long-time activist who served the people in many ways. Those of us
who worked with him in the San Francisco Living Wage Coalition and the San
Francisco Labor Council could always count on him to support the people who
were promoting programs that society needs. He was a great advocate of the
common good who supported progressive legislation and political figures who
served the people. We could always count on his presence when it came to
lobbying politicians in San Francisco, Sacramento and other locations in
California; and whenever labor struggles occurred in the streets, the courts
and the media,
David walked with and led those committed to the struggle for the common
good. His life reflected the humane logic that unions must serve and protect
the most vulnerable workers and advocate for all of society—not just our
members. His humanity, integrity and common sense always prevailed in his
many years of activism. Last year the San Francisco Living Wage Coalition
conferred on David the Labor Man of the Year award. Rest in power, Brother
Williams. We miss you and we'll never forget you. David Williams presente!

and her love will be missed. What a laugh we had when we realized her burial
would be on Samhain. Hear her cackling! Thank and bless you who remember
her now and always 💜⛩💜
